Hi all. We would like to apologise for a delay in our adoption system. You will be aware of the global situation related to COVID-19, and that the governments of many countries have taken measures to restrict the movement of people in order to reduce the spread of the virus.
As a consequence, Romanian Rescue Appeal has decided to stop the transport of dogs from Romania to the UK, in an attempt to avoid unforeseen disruptions and any increased risk to the welfare of the dogs and all people involved. Up to 26th April 2020, you can still submit your details below, but you will not be contacted to progress your adoption enquiry. With the recent instructions provided by the UK government, it will not be possible to arrange home visits.
We will get in touch with you as soon as the situation has improved, restrictions on transport have been lifted, and the government have given any new guidelines that make it possible to progress your application. In the meantime, we would be grateful for any donation you may want to make to help us feed the dogs still in Romania in these difficult times.
We have so many adoptable dogs and don’t want to lose any good homes, so please remember to write back in 4 weeks, when we will have reviewed government guidelines and policy. Thanks and we hope you and your loved ones keep safe.
