REX is now in the UK and in short term foster (South Wales). He really needs to find his forever home as soon as possible! REX was saved from the public shelter in May 2015 (you can see from the photos). He is around 9 years old and small-medium size – about 15 kgs. He has a beautiful thick soft coat and the most amazingly bushy foxy tail. When with his Romanian foster, REX was described as very loving and easy going. He displayed some dominance to some small sized males when there, but at his current foster in the UK he is regularly mixing with 4 males (all bigger than him) and females of all sizes with no problems. We are told that sadly Rex does not like cats although he has not been cat tested in the UK. When he first arrived in the UK he was very confused and unhappy – he has really come out of his shell now but when he moves again there may be another period of readjustment for him, so his adopter must be patient. He loves to be cuddled, but on his terms! Once he decides he wants affection though, he can’t get enough of it. He has plenty of energy and loves to run around in the garden. His recall is improving all the time but he would need a very secure garden as he is quite inquisitive and would certainly find a way out if there was one. He would be best homed without children as he can be easily startled and does not like sudden loud noises. He is a very happy friendly boy once he knows you but he can become easily worried if something unexpected happens. He enjoys being around his human and does not like being left out of whatever is going on! His confidence is growing all the time but he really needs to get into his forever home where he can get all the attention and affection he needs
